Local person for pharmacovigilance (local QPPV) mandatory in Latvia from 2013-02-01

Make sure you are in compliance with the new pharmacovigilance legislation of the Republic of Latvia – Cabinet Regulation No 47 “Regulations of Pharmacovigilance”.

With the new legislation, MAHs are obliged to announce a national level contact persons for pharmacovigilance (local QPPV), if the EU QPPV does not live and does not work in Latvia. Contact details of the local QPPV, or changes in this information, must be submitted to the national competent authority immediately.
